The Tinted Brow Cream That's Saving My Sparse Arches Right Now

For the past few months, my brows have been looking super beat — and not in the good sense. I blame election stress, but then again, maybe it's just the fact that my microblading is finally fading after a year. Either way, the situation is not great. They're patchy and lighter than I like them to be, and not to sound dramatic, but, it's throwing off my whole look. Luckily though, I recently discovered Em Cosmetics' Micro-Fluff Sculpting Brow Cream, and it's been making a noticeable difference in my sad caterpillars.

I first tried the unique formula after running out of my beloved Glossier Boy Brow, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the effect of it. Unlike other tinted brow products I've tried, it has an ultra-creamy consistency and a long wand with tiny bristles, which allows you to be really precise with your application. It does an excellent job of coating each and every brow hair, so even the sparse spots look defined and fairly lush.

I personally like my brows to be quite dark, so I went for the Dark Espresso shade, though the Universal Taupe and Classic Brunette colors both pair well with my deep brown hair, too — especially when I'm going for a more natural look.

As for how I apply the stuff, well, there's really no fancy technique to it. I simply brush off any excess product on the edges of the tube so it doesn't dispense too much all at once, and then I comb through my brows in upward sweeping motions. I also usually add more to the areas that need extra help by wiggling any excess product on the wand in those spots. It works by staining the skin a bit so there's a natural-looking shadow behind the hairs themselves.

I'd highly recommend this arch enhancer to anyone who's been on the hunt for a low-maintenance tinted brow product that packs a punch. You can find it on emcosmetics.com for $19.
